Dec 21, 2011 · Lets say i want to sell a stock so i don't use emotions when selling it myself so i want to use a trailing stop. On Ameritrade lets say i use T-Stop $ symbol. To the right of that symbol in a box it says to put in STOP PARAM. Lets say the current stock price of a stock is $30. Lets say i want to put in a trailing stop at $29.50 to let it move.
